Hershey's is replacing cocoabutter with vegetable oil! (Not in all products, but still....EWWWW!)
I heard this earlier this year (in August) at our convention directly from the President of Mars Inc. at our meeting. He stated that other companies were petitioning the FDA to lower their standards on chocolate. And Mars flat out refused to lower their standards (or their cocoa butter) in their recipies. This makes me really upset! I know in the whole scope of things that are out there now this is nothing, but it just sickens me how they can cheapen a product that people love! and feed their kids! I began purchasing Mars only products when I joined Dove, just out of principal, but now I"m turning full on advocate!

Hershey's used to be a quality product, now they're stooping to being second rate! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!
Check the labels for the words "chocolaty" "chocolate candy" the changes are very subtle! Keep your eye out!
